Driver's seat height adjustment

I'm looking for the gas cylinder/spring for the driver's side seat used for adjusting the seat's height. This is in a 2000 Boxster (base).
Someone in my car's past decided to remove the spring and put the gas cylinder back...height adjustment won't work as is.

I have these seats for sale, are you looking for just the gas cylinder? the only spring I see is about 10" long & mounts to the slider assembly.

I think I have what you need

I'm willing to sell this seat track for $40 plus shipping. If you prefer, I can just send you the spring and cylinder to save shipping cost.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Seat Adjust Cylinder

Kevin,
I really only need the cylinder. My shop manual shows a spring mounted on the cylinder, but it appears the manual may be in error.
How much would you want for the cylinder? Same $40?
Chris
