What I mean by "floppy covers" is that the cover over the mirror doesn't seem be held tight against the mirror. It moves freely. The visor itself is tight. I can take a picture, but I don't know how to show the issue... I do believe that the mirror assembly is remarkably cheap brand new.

P.S. I just popped the mirror assembly out of the visor, found and fixed the issue. There are two metal springs that keep the mirror cover tight. They had come out of the slots that they are put into. I reinstalled the springs and locked them in, so they are good as new.
