Woody.

Thanks for the information. I did a bit more research and you are correct, there are a few options...
My problem is that I don't have the MAF from the car to verify the part number.

The car was running great last year when I acquired it (no CEL/etc). Drove for a few months with no issues. I parked it for the last six months and now it is throwing a CEL. Code points to the MAF so I go to pull the MAF and clean it to see if that helps and the plug just falls off it. Also the security screws are gone and regular screws instead. Upon closer inspection the MAF is from a completely different car and the socket where the plug goes was filed down to make the plug fit...

Long story short is I don't know which MAF to use...
Proper fix is probably get the latest MAF and have the software updated to match it?
Any clue what happens if the MAF doesn't match the software version?

Probably a post for a different thread...

Sorry to hijack!

You're better off buying the covers new as I don't think it's possible to remove a used one without breaking it. Pelicanparts sells them for a reasonable price.

Your probably better off buying the whole assy. I read that its near impossable to install just the lid. The assy pops out ver eadily. If you have vanity mirror that is lighted the little harder cause you need to do a little soldering. Check pelican, but sunset or suncoast has the for sure I think the whole assy was around $50.

For those of you who have never ordered from Woody, I want to let you know everything came just as expected. Shipping was fast and was packaged neatly. I will be ordering from him again in the future if I ever need anymore parts.

I just realized this thread was Woody's part selling thread, so I want to apologize on recommending all the new vendors.

Another option would be if Woody had you the whole assembly as well, might save you a few bucks.

Tail light bulb holders

I have a pair of LED taillights that are failing on a car I just bought. They do not have the OEM bulb holders and most of the replacement LED's I have seen need them. Do you have either a pair of LED replacements or the bulb holders? Thanks

I sell the bulb holders for $20 plus shipping each. You may want to check with Particlewave on here and see if he can fix them. He's the headlight/taillight wizard around here
