WTB or Rent: SIR B90-P2 tool for rear bearing R/R
Hi, I'm a new owner of a 99 Boxster that is in need of a new rear wheel bearing. I'm looking to purchase or rent a used Rear Hub/Bearing Extractor and Installer Kit (Pelican part# PEL-TOL-SIRB90-P2).
Thanks,
Tim

I have a 2001 996 Carrera 2 that needs a front wheel bearing replaced. I found the Pelican part PEL-TOL-SIRB90-P2 and I believe it will do the job. Anyway, I have an email in to them and if they tell me it will work for my car, I am going to purchase it. I noticed that you need to "rent" one. I am willing to do that when I am done with my replacement. My car is partially apart already. Let me know the details and I can accommodate you...I hope

Hope I'm not butting in, but I wonder if this would do the job as well?

Thanks... I'm planning to do the bearing job in early February. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable rental fee and shipping. Would probably need it for a couple weeks.
Regards,
Tim

Hello, I do have one that I posted just a few moments ago that I am selling. The part has only been used when I replaced my rear bearings.
