FS: '00 Litronics Headlamp Set; Perfect Function, Worn Seal

Great condition, with the exception of worn seals which, when installed, seal perfectly but look/feel "gummy." Worst seal detailed below. No amber, clear lenses. I took the time to remove and include the wiring harness as well, if needed.

$850+shipping & PP fees

Thx!

Bumping... Reasonable offers? :)

Jay, do you know if the seal can be replaced?

steved0x 03-01-2014 06:23 PM

There are some threads on renntech I think where somebody found a close match for the seals as you can't get them from Porsche. My seals are gunky too but you can't really see it when the lights are in so I just quit worrying about it. I have never seen one that wasn't gunky :)

The seals are available from dismantlers, but they usually want a good buck for them

I was just wondering if they can be replaced, because I could do a swap from my original headlights. Thanks for the responses!

Yes, they can be replaced with your old seals ;)

Jaydoggster 03-04-2014 09:06 AM

Litronics still available, and yes, my Master Tech told me the best way to replace the seal is going to be with another used seal... Though, as mentioned below, these seals seem to be prone to gumming up, and it doesnt affect function, and isn't very noticeable when installed.

Thanks to all for input below.
