Roll Bar Extender

Grassroots motorsports roll bar extender for 986 (similar to the Brey-Krause). It's been on my 2001 for just over a year. No scratches. All hardware in good condition - put on once and taken off once. The top will go up and down with this in place, you need to close the latch mechanism as it passes by the bar. I have learned how to do this when closing the top from the drivers seat - for opening the top I have to get out regardless of the bar to do the "Boxster Chop." The 2001 has a plastic rear window.
Needless to say, I've never had the opportunity to see if it really works (ie I've never flipped my car). It makes the 986 good to go at VIR where I've done a few HPDE weekends with it. You can buy one for $596 new at Grassroots. I'm asking $400. Local pick up preferred but I can have it shipped if necessary if buyer pays. Save yourself $200 bucks...
