If it has the code # will take it. Sending you a PM.

Edit:

Looked it up, you have to take it to a dealer with a PiWis testing unit, in other words a mess. Thanks and Good Luck.

"If it is like a 2003-2004 986 then there is no user code. There is a code in the radio that matches the code in the instrument cluster. If the codes don't match, such as when you replace a radio, then it will not work. To code the replacement radio you need to visit a dealer with a PIWIS. At least this is they way it had to be done with the 986 CDR-23."

Off topic; Ar..ha.. I was wondering how come my 2003 doesn't ask me to enter radio code when I disconnect the battery for a couple of hours. This explains it, thanks!

Given that quality new radios can be purchased for $100-200, tis too bad that these stupid codes don't expire when, say the stock radio is 5 or 10 years old. They're really outdated and the whole code issue is a PIA for anyone owning a car that has gone through a couple of owners.
