986 Seats in black restored - Charlotte NC

I sold my 986 and it went with the 987 seats I had in it. Now I have these sitting around. I fully restored them years ago with the Leatherque system.

I do not wish to ship them so if you live in the South East and don't mind a little drive then come get them. I think $450 is fair?

Oh they have the power backs and are not heated.

Nope they have not sold, I'm looking at them right now in my office. You are pretty close too. If yours are all worn out you might like these. If you drive your Boxster here we could swap them if you aren't interested in keeping your old ones, otherwise you could pick these up and take'em back to TN. Let me know! Cheers.

As in how long can I hold them? I'm in no hurry, I've had them for this long and finally decided to sell them once I sold the car recently. Were you making a trip this way or would you make a trip to just pick them up?

legion...personally speaking...i have sat on those seats. you will like them. whip is just a P**sy and needed more pad for his A**. probably because of his hemorroids. haha.

I'm just messing with whip. but seriously, i don't think you will have any problem with buying something from him. He is very meticulous with everything he has. Hopefully, this gives you some peace of mind to make that trip.

Don't listen to that short fat doctor, he's the only pudgy Vietnamese on the planet.

Really though, here are some pics, I still can't figure out how to take pictures of black interiors, either it is too dark or shiny.

Send me some pics of yours and I'll tell you if these are better.

First four are the drivers seat the last one is the passenger:

My 1999 seats look pretty good, except for the butt wrinkles like are on your seats. The only difference is that yours are much less noticeable. Did you use a multi part restoration kit? Did it make them slick?

Actually the pics show much more than is visible in person. I feel without great lighting and a really good camera black interiors are really hard to photograph. I used the 4 step process from Leatherique.com. I removed all the lacquer finish and then re-dyed them. The water based dye is not as tough as the factory but the nice thing is they can easily be touched up.

Check the site out I was very pleased with the process.
