Hey Matthew, you know those non-smoker ashtrays sell for about $70 new, right? (Although I'm not sure if they are available in both grey and gray....)

Just curious if there is something about yours that set them apart.

the nonsmoker ashtrays from the dealer only come in standard black or grey... the one's i'm selling are painted to match the exterior color of your boxster or 996

So I can buy the part for $60 to $70, shoot it with a few coats of paint from a $12 rattlecan, and peeps will give me $150 for it? I want a piece of this action. Apparently Barnum was right. Good on you for seeing that opportunity.

All of my parts are chemically cleaned, primed and wet sanded until smooth then painted with porsche base coat "$100 a quart" and i use a gravity gun and ppg clear coated... They are not painted with a $12 rattlecan

You need to add to your ebay ad "professionally painted using OEM- grade catalyzed urethane paint".
