Parting 00 S and selling 02 S in Texas

I have 2 Boxsters, both with the 3.2 motor and 6 speed. The gray one is a 2000 Boxster S with 112,000 miles and I'm parting it out. Wheels, brakes, suspension, headlights, taillights, seats and some interior pieces are already sold from it. I'm waiting on a stater to come in so I can hopefully get it running. The black 2002 one has 68,296 miles and runs great but is cosmetically challenged. It needs a paint job and a little body work. Asking $8,000 for the 02 and it has a rebuilt title. call/text 5129259171 for any questions...thanks Woody

Sun visors on 2000S avail?

Ckrikos 07-28-2013 05:59 AM

How much for the silver handle on each door and the door pocket lid? Also looking for a rear center console. Don't mind scratches as I plan to sand it down and paint it. I take it that neither had a good motor. I'm collecting data as to what a used motor costs, because I want to buy one dismantle it, upgrade it and throw it in my 2.7.

I'm surprised at the number of boxster being parted out these days.

I'm interested in a center radiator with the mounting brackets.

The black one runs great, but the gray one can only turnover by hand. The 2000 has a bad immobilizer among other problems and that's why I'm parting it out. I don't know the history behind it except that the interior got storm damage and enough rain to short out the immobilizer. I bought it at auction for its brakes and plan on getting rid of the rest. To answer your questions, I still have the sun-visors but the plastic warning signs have come off. If you come get them you can have the pair for $10. The door covers and handles=$10, center is sold already. I'm not interested in going through the hassle of shipping the small stuff. Not unless you're okay with waiting around a week or two for it. Does $100 shipped for the radiator work for you?

Selling complete 3.2 motor for $1,750 and complete 6 speed transaxle for $1250

I could be tempted to sell the 3.2 out of the 2002 for $4500

How much for the clear (non-amber) headlights? (plus the corners) Are they lintronics?
I only see the black one in the video so can't see both headlights, although both appear to be different than mine which has the amber on the outside.

itsnotanova 07-29-2013 02:36 AM

I already sold all the lights

I'm in SW Austin.

Bryan topping 07-29-2013 04:17 PM

PM sent on the rad & brackets.

itsnotanova 07-29-2013 05:14 PM

Pm's replied.

The Black 2002 is not being parted out at this time. I'm trying to sell it whole, but I would sell the motor from it.

I am interested in the trans. and rear suspension (not breaks and rotors). Also the shifter and cables. Do you still have them and what are you asking?

kefboy 07-30-2013 05:33 AM

Do you have the plastic battery tray cover?

Woody,

Did you already sell the center radiator w/brackets?

If not, I would like to drive down an take them off the vehicle & purchase them from you.

Bad news for you guys who were wanting the center radiator. It looks like the car hit something in the front and messed up the middle radiator and brackets. The bumper cover is in good shape though.

Here's the latest picture. Roll bar and top are sold, just haven't come to pick them up yet. I might be yanking the motor & tranny out next sunday.
