Carbon fiber hood for sale
This is for some one in the DFW area as I will not ship it.
I have a Carbon Fiber front hood. Take the latch from you stock hood and bolt to this one. The top is carbon fiber 2x2 twill with a clear coat. The botom part is fiberglass and is epoxed to the bottom of the carbon fiber part to give is some streingth. The carbon finber and fiberglass parts are seperating as I belived it was shipped to me be fore it was cured. This should be an easy fix, just drill a few small holes on the bottom side(it is raised and hollow in some area's so no fear in drilling through the carbon fiber. Squirt some epoxy or resin throught the holes and weight the hood down to cure. I would say do it on the car to make sure is conforms right. It is a very light weight hood and looks cool to. Make me an offer. Not wanting much mostly want it out of my garage. I took the hood off and traded the car in. I no longer have a Porsche(going to take a break from them for awhile). Now driving an 05 SRT-4. For the moeny this is a preaty awesome car and much cheeper witch I need for a few years while I go back to school. Richard my89_928gt@yahoo.com |
