Do you still have it and if so do you have the hardware? Gil

The top is still for sale, the hardware ( consisting of 2 spin locks ) is available at any Porsche dealership for about $45. My boxsters already have them when they leave the factory. -Geoff 919 923 5609

Spin Lock question

I have a 2001 S that I just purchased a hardtop for. My question, do I need to buy Spin Locks for this model and year?

There seems to be a hole already that is slotted to accept the posts on the hardtop. When I put the top on and tighten down the levers it isn't as tight to the body as I would have expected.

I looked at 9x6 Werks DVD preview pictures of a spin lock and my existing holes definetly do not look like what is shown there as a "spin lock".

Any help appreciated.
