WTB: airbag deactivation

Hi,
Looking for the passenger deactivation bar that mounts underneath the passenger side seat. Have a 5 year old that likes to ride passenger and need to be able to turn the airbag off.

Thanks
Jeff

bar

Check with your favorite indie Porsche shop. Mine had several lying around that second owners had him remove, so he gave me one and the corresponding programming free with purchase of another service. The seat or deactivation buckle is a little tougher to come by, I would suggest find the seat you like of any brand and then find or make a buckle to go with your bar. BOL
BTW, I only use mine now with my smallest co-pilot, as the data seems to suggest that the airbag is not so bad for pediatric wreck victims AS LONG AS THE CHILD SEAT IS NOT STILL REAR FACING. But we all have to find our own path through the woods of responsible parenting.

You might try calling a few of the dismantlers. I got my deactivation bar from Oklahoma Foreign and they threw in a buckle. Cost about $50 with shipping. DC Automotive is another source. BTW: These folks have more available than shown on their websites.

Some one on the board was selling the buckle for the bar so you can use any child seat.

I have 2 buckles. One was from porsche shop UK and another one I bought from a forum member ChrisZang. Let me know if you can't find the buckle.
