Looking for shift knob and boot.
 

I'm looking to upgrade the shift knob and boot on my '98 Boxster, from the original mushroom to the aluminum and black one. If anyone out there has one (black) for sale please let me know. Thanks.

There is usually a couple always on eBay. Sunset has them for $170.

So are you looking for the mushroom style or your looking to upgrade from the mushroom style? I recently ordered a new shift knob and boot and could sell you the mushroom style one.

In that case you may want to try a salvage yard or ebay.

I have a Porsche Aluminum shift knob and boot I would be willing to part with. Two things with it are 1) It was grey and was dyed black(looks good but more sheen) 2) the engraved numbers are painted red. I find the alum ones very cold in the winter months. Looking for a custom thick leather one.

The stock knob set from sunset cost me $70.00 w/shipping. I'm going to send that back unless someone wants it for same price shipping included.
