hello guys.
need 3 switch connectors. just like these: http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1352321352.jpg anyone can help? |
Junkyard items, to get them new, you have to buy the entire harness..........
|
Most of the connectors are all available individually... but it wont be easy finding out which one you need unless you have the #'s

thanks JFP and Heiko.
i did some homework before posting. the part number for the connector is 443972995 and its a VW Audi part (can be found in BMW as well). just like JFP said (and sunset imports), "Porsche like to sale their connector as a hole wiring loom" i can get the connectors pretty cheep from pelican parts: Pelican Parts - Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche & BMW problem is, i do not think it comes with the pins that go in it, and i don't know the part number for the pins. was hoping someone who converted is car to a race car or someone who parting out will be able to help. will wait couple of days, and then a trip to the graveyard. |
Meir try these guys... they will sell you the connectors and all the pins you need.

BUYA!
found 4 connectors, with the wires, from an 84 Audi. cost me 30$ including shipping. thanks for all your help guys. |
Glad you found some... but man they make lots of $$$ on used parts!
I phoned a wrecker for the passenger side splash guard in front of the rear wheel and they wanted more than Porsche for a new one (unreal). My VW guy called me back and said they can get them (takes a couple of days); apparently they are used in 19996-2004 EuroVan's and 2002-2010 Beetles. They come with the pins if you order them at VW :-) |

figured out, getting new ones + shipping will probably cost the same. didn't want to put you through this trouble. for 30$ it wasn't even worth for me to start searching the local junk yards. once again thank you very much for you effort. |

I have been quoted $70 and up for EACH, NEW!!! Almost that amount for good ones…except JD who cannot find them! @Hieko - how much were these puppies and where? That is the LAST PART that needs attention! I know as soon as I get it perfect all the wheels are going to fall off. Maybe that is why I have tolerated it so long! That, and they are a bloody fortune FOR PLASTIC!! |
Those guards are $40 bux a piece 'used' at Nineapart Nineapart Home - Used Porsche Parts - Porsche Recycling Facility
Whaletail in Kitchener (another used porsche parts dealer) also carries them but not sure how much they are there. Heiko |
