Selling OEM black Rear Storage Compartment P/N # 986.551.223. Retails for over $700 without speakers. This one includes the Porsche Parts & Innovations rear speaker upgrade with includes (4) 3.5" Two Way Coaxial speakers (50 Watts RMS, 4 Ohm) and all wiring and factory harness for plug-n-play operation. Off of a 2002 Black Boxster S. In great shape. Includes the two long locking pins and plastic washers required for installation.

I have a Pioneer Avic in the car, so I had cut up that wire to adapt it to the external amp.

This only has the plug as shown. Check your vehicle, many have the wire already routed to this spot.

i will check on it later this week. car is covered and i am away from where i can look at it right now. iirc the plug should be just behind the passengers seat, is that correct?

correct. It is usually up high though (imagine behind where ones shoulders would rest).
