Wanted - 2001 Boxster - Black Engine Cover Carpet
 

I've been searching for a replacement rear window engine cover carpet (Black).
Anyone know where the best place is to get a replacement?

It's faded almost white/silver and would like to get it replaced.

Any help would be appreciated

Pick up a can of Dupli-Color fabric and plastic paint, paint the carpet, you will not believe the results. Make sure you get the Dupli-color, I painted the entire carpet set in another car and it turned out great. 6.00 and you are done.

Shops that build Boxster Spec race cars have used carpet kits by the dozens. HRG in Laguna Hills, 911 Design in Montclair, several in Texas. Good hunting!

I did find one on ebay, but it's the engine cover and carpet, in the picture the carpet doesn't look in that good of shape.

Thanks for your input, after posting I thought of the same thing with fabric paint..

It's amazing how the sun can fade carpet over the years..
