Zein Top For Sale!
 

Thanks to a member on here with a tip on a Zein Top, I've found one!! But the wife says no. I think I'll keep peace in the house.

Harry, the guy that has the top owned a blue '03 base. He said he ordered it from the company in South Africa. Pictures show the work he put into it, and the lines look great. He has since sold the car but the buyer didn't want the top :confused:.

I saw this on Craigslist, its very tempting! How "rare" are these?

Sort of like hens teeth.

Search the FS forum for Zeintop, and you'll see. There are few of these in existence, fewer for sale. Although the designer has started selling them again; not sure what he's looking for in terms of cost & qty to get them to the US

Yes, a VERY nice alternative to the OEM hardtop. Plus, they look really cool. The lines definitely fit the car.

It will be a lot more than $2600 to your door. The ad is $2600 FOB (freight on board). It will be delivered to the nearest sea port where you have to make arrangements to pick it up. You will then have to hire a customs broker$$$ and pay taxes and misc import fees. Typically items will arrive crated, so if you dont own a truck you will have to rent one or pay a freight service. I used to import from China and with all of the hidden costs and arrangements it gets really frustrating. Not for the faint of heart.

A guy on Scarborough, Ontario has an Arctic Silver Zeintop posted on kijiji.ca. He wants 5k, a little over the top (pun) even for something as rare as this.
