wtb: passenger side Amber corner headlight trim

I broke the tabs off of my amber trim while removing headlights. Anyone have one lying around they want to get rid of?

anyone have one for sale?

ASpec, I too broke my amber corner lights when I took them off. I find that 12 years of sun and weather make the plastic brittle. You could try finding a replacement by Pelican parts or Sun coast. A popular upgrade is to get them in clear.

Mine also broke while prepping for the xenon retrofit, but I'm going to try hot-gluing them back in place when I'm done.

click: you can melt the round alignment posts down with a soldering iron to secure also, but this is more permanent. Won't fall off, though ;)

For the headlight I've started with, one of the alignment posts also broke off, and the other one was too short to start with. Such quality...

Does anyone have a front bumper cover for a 1999 boxster. I found a couple but they are a long way from west Memphis Arkansas

Brand new amber corners aren't that expensive. It's really not worth messing around with brittle old used ones. Don't go with clear unless you upgrade to clear headlights. Mismatched corner lenses just look bad.

$68 from Pelican. Each.

Add exchange and shipping to Canada...

I haven't checked with the local stealership, but based on my experience their price will be 25-50% higher.

$0.02 of hot glue sounds like a better way to go to me...
