Wanted, Orig. 97 Floormats (Pic Inside)
 

I have been searching for about an entire year now, and i have been unable to find the exact floor mats that came in my 1997 boxster. I am the original owner and therefore know that they are not a aftermarket modified mat. The fastener for the mats involve a clip that latches underneath the seat to the rails. It does not velcro to a floor insert. Also, i believe the carpet fiber, is a little bit "fuller" than say a MY2000. I have yet to find a dealership that knows what i am talking about.

Any input or contacts are much appreciated. Pictures are attached.

I have a set exactly like that, right down to the greenish tint and red lettering. They were in my 97 Arctic silver with Boxster red interior when I purxhased ir used. I did not think they were the original mats until now

you want to sell your floor mats? i got some chlorine on the passenger one. Turns out the supplier for our model may have been changed within the first 100's of US models; so says the porsche parts manager at a dealership. let me know if you ever hear different.

I ordered replacements for the originals on ebay. They have modified the clip slightly but otherwise are identical. I believe they came from Brandywine Porsche and were $99.00. I compared them to the originals when they came and am very happy with the match.
