'98 986 parts for sale update

I'm done stripping my '98 Boxster (Arena Red / Black) into Spec Boxster form, so everything has been removed and is ready for sale. Lots of items sold already.

The list includes items such as: trunk carpets; factory stereo; factory hard top; 18" wheels; Pioneer stereo & iPod interface; sun visors; all convertible top transmission equipment; all HVAC equipment; camber plates.

Please check out the complete list and info at the page below and contact me (trygve (at) bombaydigital (dot) com) if you are interested in anything listed or anything I may have forgotten to list!

It is funny, but I am taking my 02 Boxster to "show" form after many years of tracking it.

Czrooster 12-17-2011 04:55 PM

I am interested in the rear zipper storage bag for $20.

99ArticSilver 12-17-2011 06:12 PM

Sent for PM the Camber Plates.

Interested in the muffler with mounts. Have a 3.2 so, let me know if if available and if it'll fit/compatible. PM me the price if yes. Also need a cubby hole. Thanks.

Saudin801 01-03-2012 09:10 PM

I'm interested in the 7mm spacers with the extended bolts.

trygve 01-04-2012 09:27 PM

Caught up with PM's and holiday down time.
Czrooster, I still owe you a shipping est. on the storage bag. Send me your zip code, please.
99ArcticSilver, it sounds like I can remove the camber plates myself easily. Planning to work on it this weekend.

Brad Roberts 01-06-2012 05:34 PM

He is on Alameda!! (next to Oakland)

Brad, the motorsports piston return springs on the rebuild work great, they make the engine sound much throatier!

Feelyx, I'm in Alameda -- let me know if you want to drive over and check it out some time. Not a bad drive on a weekend. The top is in great shape. I'll see replies more quickly if you email me directly -- trygve at bombaydigital dot com. Thanks!

How much for the climate control computer ? Is it still available ?

uladzislau 04-30-2012 10:42 AM

Is the hard top still up for sale? I'm relatively close to Oakland and can pick it up...

trygve 04-30-2012 01:53 PM

Sorry, the hard top was sold a while ago.

Tires and wheels are the big item remaining. I am very willing to deal on these -- I've had them taking up space for too long!

I also realized that I will never again use my South Sport tow hitch & tire trailer again, so I should sell that too. The hitch will bolt onto the existing Boxster bumper brackets, and the small trailer has a spare wheel, a lockable carrier for 4 wheels with tires, and a diamond plate locking toolbox.

How much for the hitch shipped to 83634?

Let me think about it -- I would like to see if someone wants the hitch and trailer together first, since someone may need both.

How much weight can the p-car pull? I was looking at a trailer hitch to pull my motorcycle.

s_wilwerding 05-04-2012 04:09 AM

PM me if you're interested in selling the rear trunk carpet.
