FS: Grey Carpeted 986 Storage Compartment w/Rear Speakers- New lowered price!

Starting the process of slowing selling parts of my newly purchased '98 Boxster as it slowly becomes a Spec Boxster Racer.

I'm 1st selling a grey carpeted Boxster Rear Storage Cubby Compartment with already built-in Porsche Rear Speaker Kit. I'm asking $250 + actual shipping cost from 94306.

It is in good, as you can see below:

That's nice. I have been debating on adding this to mine. Is it a direct plug and play when I remove my regular (nonspeaker equiped) storage box?

To be honest, I'm pretty new to Boxster's, so I am not sure. It is held in place by the 2 large plastic "bolts" into the mounting holes on the cover piece on the top of the motor... Hope that helps...

It's the speaker plug I was wondering about. I wasn't sure if every Boxster was prewired or if just certain 98's were. Maybe someone will chime in.

Although the speakers work fine, This was not hooked up when I bought the car. That's why I'm selling it. I've discovered you can get the wiring Harness on line... Regardless, I've lowered the price to $275 if you need the. Crutchfield has it I believe.

Garage
I think the harness part you need is 986-612-085-00-OEM That should make it plug-n-play.

Thanks VitaminC! I knew I had seen it somewhere... I believe it may be in place in S models already...
