I called Porsche Toronto today, and got confirmed that the 987 hardtop use the same parts number as 986 one. Actually Porsche didn't change hardtop design when the 987 model released. So, mine is also perfect fit for 986...

I wonder if a black hardtop will look good on a silver car. in theory it should much like the black convert top... is there any damage/scratches to it at all?

After some research. I apologize here for misleading viewers. Actually my dealer should make a mistake, my 987 hardtop can not fit on any 986 model.
