its all clear.

Cockpit cover has been sold. Side Markers and shifter still available. $20 shipped on the pair of side markers. That's a deal!

Dropping price to $80 shipped for the shifter. The thing is in great shape and hardly shows any wear. Similar shifters are going for double this on ebay.

Couple more pics of the shifter. As you can see this thing almost looks new. Only has about 15K miles on it.

Final offer on the shifter $70 out the door. That's my bottom dollar. I'll just hang on to it otherwise.

I tell you Adam, if there was a way for me to put a 5 speed pattern on it I'd take that thing off your hands quick, looks so much better than what I've seen elsewhere.

I wish I could help you, but Porsche doesn't make a 5 speed pattern in that shape :(
Apparently there isn't a huge need for the 6 speed shifter out there right now. Porsche salvage yards are trying to sell beat up ones for over $150 like this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-Boxster-S-986-6-speed-shift-knob-w-boot-plate-/150547424885?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item230d536675#ht_4349wt_939

I doubt they're selling them since I can't seem to sell my way nicer one at half the price. I'll just hang on to it for a few more years. It will be worth more and there will be more demand then.

I wonder if there's a blank insert out there somewhere...? I don't need to see the shift pattern, anyways.
