WTB 986 hardtop
 

Hello, all. I have an Arctic Silver 986, as can be seen in my signature. I'm located in Connecticut, and I am looking for a good condition silver hardtop for my car, as well as the hardware necessary to mount it on the car. If anyone has one for sale, please send me a PM with information. Don't be afraid to let me know even if you're not in any of the states next door. I'm looking to have it shipped to me, rather to drive out, throw it on, and drive home with it on. :D Pictures would be greatly appreciated, as well. :) Thanks for your time. :cheers:

say where you are from. Many sellers of hardtops just aren't interested in shipping and as long as your location is so ambiguous they may not answer.

There is one for sale in NY over on Pelican.

Thanks, Mike. I did mention it, in a way, actually, earlier, as I am on the East Coast. I'm not particularly interested in getting it shipped, either. ;) I'll make some edits to the original post.

I have a Seal Grey hardtop from a 2001 Boxster S that was wrecked (without the hardtop on it). It's in good condition and in Portland, OR. PM me if interested.

Overdrive and Eeko, I'm surprised no one has bought this top yet. It's close to you guys (in Long Island), silver, and listed for $1500.
BTW, this is not my listing nor do I have affiliation with the seller.

i am looking for seal gray hardtop for now. I saw the NY listing a month ago and already contacted the seller...its arctic silver and prefer not to repaint if i can find seal gray. on the positive side, its only an hour and half away.

I saw these on craigslist and ebay last week. Not sure if they are still available, but in Maryland, there was a dark blue top with gray interior for $700 in good shape.

And in VA, there was a silver one in great shape with black interior for $1100.

And on ebay. A Black one filled with deep scratches. Needs to be repainted badly. $900.

I know this probably isn't the right time to sell my hardtop seeing how its top down season and I'll probably regret selling it...but I barely used this.

Seal Grey Boxster Hardtop 986

Condition: Fair-Good, does not leak. Everything works perfectly, defroster, locks, etc. Car was previously artic silver, I had a bodyshop paint it seal grey and they did a bad job, which is why I'm listing this as "fair-good". The structure and integrity is still perfect- only issue is the paint!

Price: $1300 OBO
