Hey guys,
I have an aluminum "Exclusive Options" 6 speed shift knob with the rare colored Porsche crest. This knob definitely has some wear. The "alumi-look" paint has worn off on a good portion of the knob. The leather also has the finish rubbing off. Black leather boot and silver ring are in excellent condition. Could easily be refinished or polished. These cost $399.95 new from Suncoast. I just bought a boxster 2.5 from 1997 does this fit ?

It will fit, but that knob has a 6-speed gate pattern, where as your car is 5-speed.

Yes, all boxster manual shift knobs should be interchangeable. However, this knob is marked for a 6 speed transmission. Your car, I assume, has a 5 speed tranny.
