FS: Complete 2.5L Boxster Engine

I have a complete 2.5L motor that I was going to use to put in a shell. Since I have not found a shell in the price range I am looking for I have decided to sell the complete motor. It comes with all accessories and harness. Feel free to pm me with any questions. Thanks in advance

Perhaps posting pics would help you generate some traffic on the sale.

I agree; also is it new, a la crate motor? Is it a 2.5 bored to 2.7 or an 'S' 2.7? Is it rebuilt or just pulled from a wreck? Details... I'm interested depending

Thanks for the replies. I will posting pics in the next few days. The motor was pulled from a wreck. Motor was running great when pulled. I also wanted to mention that the motor is actually a 2.5L not a 2.7L as I had originally posted. I appologize for any confusion.

Nice Motor?

This looks like something that I am very interested in. I have a project car that I'm working on, and I need a 2.5 or 2.7L motor for it. Any info on the engine along the lines of mileage on it, whether or not it was damaged in the wreck? Did it come from an automatic or a manual? If a manual, is the transmission available? You may have a buyer right here, just let me know all the info you have on it.

Intake ports open??? That's no way to store an engine...

Stuff a clean rag in each one or seal off with blue painters tape.

I actually had plastic over the intake ports. Just took them off for the pics.

About A Rabbit

No damage to the motor not the included accessories. The gentleman I bought it from said it the car had 34k on the clock. I believe it is from a manual because there is a "shift type cable" coming from the engine. and is long enough to attach to the transmission. Hope this helps.

Looks like a 2.5L from the 37th week of 1999.
