FS: 18" BBS RS-GT forged wheels for 986 Boxster / 996 911

For sale is a beautiful set of 18" BBS RS-GT 2-piece fully forged wheels for a 996 911 or a 986 Boxster.
The wheels are the diamond black finish with mach lip and the centers have been professionally powdercoated black.

Specs:
2 piece fully forged construction
F: 18x8 w/ 235/40/18 michelin pilot sport tires -- +50mm offset -- 20.6 pounds
R: 18x10 w/ 265/35/18 michelin pilot sport tires -- +65mm offset -- 22.1 pounds
The wheels are tirerack's fitment for 996 911

Condition:
- The wheels and tires run straight and true and are perfectly balanced.
- The front tires have about 45% tread remaining and the rear tires have about 25% tread remaining.
- Wheels exhibit typical wear from only 15,000 miles of usage.
- The powdercoat has some chips and peels in some spots, but can be easily re-powdercoated (as shown in the photos).
- Minor curb rash on one of the wheels (as shown).

986 Boxster Fitment:
- As you can see these wheels may also fit a 986 Boxster (S and non-S), subject to the below.
- Spacers and extended wheel bolts are required (I will throw these in for free).
- The acorn lug adapters from your factory bolts will need to be used on the extended wheel bolts.
- Brake line must be tied back a little bit for clearance.

$2300 (wheels alone sell for $3500+ on tirerack)
Buyer pays shipping

Powdercoat wheels

Any idea how much it would cost to have these wheels done over in powdercoat?

jwocky 01-20-2009 08:50 AM

About $30-40 for each wheel you want powdercoated. That's what mine originally cost.

Thanks for looking.
