Might want to

explain what this is, how easy to install and its benefits. I have them on both mirrors and I wouldn't drive without them.

They are multi-segment mirrors with the outer 1/4 slanting foreward at the outer edge to give a more sideways view.

You pull the existing mirror out by gripping the edge and then once it is free, you unclip 2 wires (heater). Install is the reverse.

And they provide vision to the rear while still covering the blind spot. I find the Boxster has definite blind spots where the top fabric is and these let you see cars creeping up on your side when they are up to a half length from your car.

I liked them so much on my '99 I bought some for my '01. They are much more expensive than this new.

The mirror is clear. If you get a tinted mirror, you'll need a pair, right? This is a single.
