WTB: 5 Speed Shift Knob for 97 986
Anyone know where I can find a good shift knob for my 97 Boxster?
I have the original one on my car now and would like a sleeker looking one. Anyone put a MOMO or aftermarket knob on? If so, was the installation hard? |
Some knobs have a set screw and some have a compression fitting which basically you just pull off.
You can tell either way by feeling at the base of your knob for a screw protruding under the leather boot. |
I went through the same thing. I couldn't find any after-market ones that would fit my car (I'm sure they are out there) so I had to go Porsche.

Anyone else have any ideas for me?
