Ebay sells keys all the time that cannot be programmed and all they're really good for is the plastic housing.

Wait for one to NOT sell, then PM the owner through eBay, tell him the key is worthless for anyone except for someone like yourself who wants the plastic housing, and offer him $5 plus shipping.

That's the cheapest way to get the plastic housing if you ask me.
