Need advice on an ouchie
So my rear deck lid had an accidental encounter with a drill bit tonight. (for those wondering, the drill was intentional, the impact was not). The impact was on the inside of the deck lid so I'm not concerned about that. However, the outside dented outward a bit and the paint seems to have fractured at this site. Not sure what to do about it - I'm not concerned about cosmetics as it is quite inconspicuous, but I do not want the area to rust (if that's even likely). Thoughts?

I had a similar bulge after closing the lid on something in the trunk. I had a paintless dent repair done and it looks like new. Mine didn’t break the paint however.

Hey Jack, I've heard a fair number of people recommend that brand but I've never used it personally. I managed to spin my spoiler mount around 180 deg and cover that spot so it's going to stay as is for now.
